Weddings...
I am what you might call a wedding specialist...so I have been told. I
try and cover every aspect of your wedding needs that relates to the service
that I provide.
If you haven't formally cut your wedding cake during you wedding meal (wedding
breakfast) you may want to do it just before your first dance. I would normally
get everyone that has a camera arranged around the cake with the two of you
stood behind it ready to take a photo. However I would make sure that the
official photographer has the first and clear shots of you both.
Initially there is your first dance and your second dance if you have one. You
may want to have the first dance all to your-selves and get everyone to join in
with you on a second piece of romantic music then again you may want everyone to
join in about half-way through the first piece.
People often ask me what should we do and when and my reply is normally "It's
your day do exactly what you want to do when you feel comfortable doing it".
There are various expectations that your guests might have, but remember you
don't have to go with tradition, you can set the trend and do things at you own
pace. You must never feel forced into doing things.
You may want to traditionally open the buffet, all this involves is my-self
announcing that you, the happy couple will now go and inspect the buffet and
formally open it by selecting a few things from it.
